Ride 4 Sophie 14 Peak Challenege
Ride 4 Sophie 14 or 7 Peak Challenge - Whats it all about you ask ?
On 13 April 2009 Sophie's life changed forever. A tragic Go Karting accident left the 21 year old Tetraplegic ( Paralysed from the neck down )Sophie struggled to overcome many setbacks which nearly cliamed her life but the feisty 21 Year old pulled through and is now trying to rebuild he life and get back to the woamn she once was. The accident has left her breathing through a tracheostomy and with no voice.
Sophie remains positive and her main objective is to move independantly again. She has had extensive physiotherapy and her are movements are becoming stronger. This will allow Sophie to opearte an electric wheelchair, which would give her so much more freedom. The wheelchair she requires is specialised for Sophies needs - but comes with a price tag. Please help raise money towards Sophies new chair by either competing in or sponsoring someone in the 14 Peak or 7 Peak Challenge
